I tried — and failed — many diets before I finally succeeded in reaching my goals. Like… have I mentioned MANY?

But I believe everything happens for a reason. Every hurdle I hit was a lesson I needed.

I struggled to get in enough protein.
I craved sweets constantly.
I hated eating the same meals on repeat.
I didn’t have time to meal prep — but I stressed when I didn’t have a meal ready.
I was tracking my food wrong and couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t making progress.
I went on trips without a kitchen and spiraled.
I felt anxious at parties and game nights because temptation was everywhere — but I wasn’t willing to give up fun just to lose weight.
I was hungry all. the. time.
I was so out of shape I felt like I was dying every time I worked out.
And don’t even get me started on how lost I felt in the gym.

But guess what? I figured it out.

Not overnight. Not perfectly. But fully. And now I get to help others who are dealing with some — or maybe all — of those same struggles.

That’s a gift.
That’s a blessing.
And honestly? How cool is that?
